The staff at the front desk were very helpful and ready to assist with all queries

The cleanliness of the room left alot to be desired, showers had soap scum and hair from previous guest, toilets need a thorough scrubbing and a thorough dusting of the room. Bed linen would be nice if changed more frequently than once in a fortnight.

Location and price were the main attractions. Staff were excellent, polite and very helpful. Family atmosphere. Excellent for the businessman or seasoned traveller who dislikes fuss and stuffiness.

Staff was very friendly and informative. Great location: 10-15 minute walk to the old city; 5 minute walk to the main market; 2 minutes from the Jaffa stop on the light rail which will take you to either of those locations, the central bus station, and Yad Vashem. Room was a good size with a cute balcony. It was quiet. Free tea, coffee, and filtered water in the lobby

There is no staff in the hotel in saturdays due to shabbat

Perfect location close to the city center, friendly and helpful staff, very secure, right price; I would totally recommend.

No hair dryer in the rooms. Think they can make a collaboration with a café near by for breakfast. Had a problem with hot water but heard they were going to be renovating the rooms after our departure.

Very centrally located in downtown Jerusalem, and about 15 minutes walk to Jaffa Gate. The new tram system (not yet in use) passes close by also. The staff were very helpful in all matters, including booking of daytrips and taxi to the airport.

The accommodation was basic, and the bathroom (which was small)could do with an upgrade. The breakfast arrangements were not good - consisted of a voucher for a (paper) cup of coffee, or juice, and a pastry at the cafe next door. The cafe is not open on Saturdays, so you get a package of pastries and make your own coffee at the reception area.

Great location. In pedestrian area of the New City (around the corner of Ben Yehuda Street. Comfortable bed. Room is quite big. We stayed here five days. One of the staffmembers was extreme friendly (helping us finding a hospital).

Bathroom is small (with mold growth). One night we couldn't sleep of the noise (probably because of the airco in the neighbours' bedroom). Breakfast is served in a nearby coffeshop. With vouchers. Good food, but everyday we had discussions with the staff of the coffeeshop about what was and what wasn't included in our vouchers. No cleaning on shabbat and no breakfast on shabbat (except a large box of pastries handed out on friday afternoon).

Everything about La Perle was great. The location is wonderful if you like walking out the door and instantly feeling part of things. It's a small hotel, and the breakfast included is at the outdoor cafe next door, so you're not insulated from your surroundings. The neighborhood is lively and pleasant, and it's just a short walk up Jaffa Road from the Old City. The staff is cheerful, hospitable, and extremely helpful. The room was clean, light, and pleasant. This hotel is not only a real find at the price, it's just plain excellent of its kind.

Staff was always vey friendly, some of them speak Russian fluently. Has no lift, but they helped me with my luggage. Location is perfect. I like it!

It was cold sometimes, conditioner was weak.

Close to the jaffa gate (about 10 min. walk), next to the busy pedestrian street of ben yehuda, where a lot of shops, cafe's and clubs are. Really friendly staff, very smart the breakfast with coupons at the next door cafe.

Very small room and really tiny bathroom. quite expensive, about 80.00 usd, but considering that israel is an expensive destination, it is not easy to find something better in a more reasonable price.

Small and charmfull. Good localization in the modern walking area, full of shops and caffe, 10 min to Mea Sharim, Old City and Givat Ram, nice brakfest in the Sambookie close beside. Helpfull Staff. Nice both for individual and families.

Nice location centrally in Jerusalem within the shopping area and short walking distance to the old city. Staff was helpful and friendly, although present only a limited period of the day and not on special days
